I have been reading comments over these past years. About time I signed into guest book. I along with Al Worsley Retired from SW April 30, 2010. Not many people get to retire from SW, so I feel kind of fortunate as I am one of the very few who went over in 1996. There are about 6 old P%Lers left selling the brand and 4 or 5 old P&Lers selling MLC. Special hello to all my old friends. If any of you see this and wish to communicate with me I would love to hear from you

For some reason was thinking about P&L and stopped by to post again to the guestbook (last post about 3 years ago).

Have moved my business downtown and am located in the beautiful Market Arcade Building in the Theatre District.

Would love to hear from anyone in Accounting and IT that I had the pleasure to work with who might stumble upon this site.

Thanks, Eric, for keeping this part of your site up.

Hello all,
Just checking in and saying hi. Working for the school board here but long for the day to return to WNY. I miss all the great folks at P&L. Driving for the company was a pleasure more than a job.

Wow I just went back and read all the entries from the last ten years. A lot of us are gone now. No matter what the memories are all the sweeter now. I believe I have finally forgiven JY 111 for screwing up marketing and Klasa for being such a pig head. (but a great sales manager) Finally back where I started selling wood coatings again and loving life, my three grand kids and wife of 40 years.
PS if you want to sell or distribute a great line of wood finishes send me a line russa@woodwrightfinish.com. Pss SWP has all but ruiened the MLC Brand and what ever happened to P & L Industrial. Austin Floyd where are you!
God Bless all and think positive it goes a very long way!

Hi All. I just found this site today. I can't believe that it has taken me so many years to find this site. I worked in Sales in Rochester & outlying Buffalo and then worked with M.L. Campbell. I miss the old Pratt & Lambert. I’m sure that I’m not the only one that feels that way.
I thought that it might be interesting list just a few of the people that I worked with -
Russ Agard, Thomas Osowski, Aldo Sainato, Roger Drolinger, Al Worsley, Paul Carrera, Jerry Bake just to name a few.
I live in Chandler, AZ. I remarried a few years ago. My oldest daughter Danielle is a junior at ASU, Alyssa just graduated High School and my youngest Josh is a senior in High School.
I’m looking forward to checking in on this site to see what’s new.

John Yeager III, I’m so sorry to hear the news about the passing of your Father. Please accept my condolences.

With a heavy heart, I regret to inform you of the passing of my Father. Although Dad was having a successful battle with Hodgkins, he suddenly fell ill with pneumonia. He lost his battle late Monday (June 1st), after 8 days in ICU at a hospital in Kansas City. I know he loved working with the entire gang at Pratt & Lambert. He will be missed...

John

I worked in Cleveland at "The Cleveland Paint and Color Co" which was a subsidiary of P & L.
Your grand father was pres of that facility, not Pratt & Lambert, Buffalo, NY. He was always a polished gentleman!

My grandfather's name was Thomas Kirchner and I am told that he was once president of Pratt & Lambert. Unfortunatly he passed away right before my birth in 1960. Was just wondering if anyone would know where I might see information/articles and such from that time frame. I would really like to find something about his becoming president of the company for my children/grandchildren. Any help would be great!

Very sad news. If you have not already heard, Kevin Johnston was aboard the plane that crashed in Clarence. There is no information yet on services, but I will update it here when it becomes available.
